New Credit Card
There's going to be a new credit card in town by CitiBank. Citibank SMRT Visa Platinum Card. It's a tied up with SMRT to provide discount for travel on SMRT.
- 2% rebate as you tap and go.
- 5% rebate on your coffee and groceries charges.
- All your other charges also earn you rebate redeemable for free SMRT rides.
- 3 years free annual waiver.
Now even the banks know that there's demand for discount on our public transport. If you are not earning enough to apply for the credit card, there's a debit card as well. Just open an account with CitiBank and you can get the debit card and enjoy the benefits. The down side is that you need $5000 to open an account with Citibank.
