Message of The Day

Not having enough rest and still need to work is a torture. Your eyes are in pain, you can't think straight, you keep yawning and you are having a lousy temper.

Haven't have a good rest for the past 48hrs. Can't help it if I have to do night shift. My body clock is not working properly after night shift. Can't sleep during the day when the sun is up. Guess it's the weather that's keeping me up.

Just came back from Keong's chalet. Think I better retire to bed now. If not tomorrow sure on MC. *yawn*

It's barely a month or is it 2 months after all the taxi companies decided to raise their fares and now SMRT plans to raise the fare for BUS, MRT and LRT services.

The blame the move on the increase of diesel prices. The same reason given by our taxi operator. I agree that the price of diesel have indeed increase the operator's operating cost but some how I don't like the idea. The company is not making a loss. So why should the fare be increased?

Just because their shareholders are not taking back the same amount dividend comparing to a couple of years back where diesel price are still low, they decide to increase the fare. It's ridiculous!

As Mr Brown have put it. Prices are increasing but somehow my salary is still the same.

There's so many things to do and yet I'm still refusing to touch on them.

Mountains of unpaid bills. My accident claim. My medical checkup. My $50 sports voucher. Why do I keep putting this stuff till the last minute?

Bad habit I suppose or I just like to do things when the date is almost due? Don't ask me. I can't understand myself sometimes.

It's been so long since the Dark Knights of King Arther's Table gathered. There used to be so many of us during fresh man orientation. Hundreds in fact.

The battles we fought. The cheers we lead. And the tears we shed. All for the glory of our Castle. The memories were still fresh. Seems like yesterday when I just step into Poly. It's a distant memory now.

We parted our ways after graduating from Polytechnic. Though we still keep in touch between some of us. All of us have our own path to walk.

The friendship we had was not the same anymore. We had different paths to take. Different people to meet. Different goals to achieve.

Miss those good old days when friendships are simple. No back stabbing, no gossips just purely out to have fun and win.

Miss those good old days of the Dark Knights where we worked as a team. We only had one purpose in mind. To be the strongest castle and prove our worth to King Arther.

It's part of me forever.

I'll be a Knight of the Round Table and one day I'll be someone else Knight.

When you are happy. Maybe it's because my bike came back and I can race with the wind once again.. or is it because of something else?

Whatever it is, I wish I can stay in this moment.

Finally caught Pirates of Caribbean The Dead Man's Chest last night. The movie is 150 Mins long. Even thought we watched the 2030HR movie, it still ended late. By the time we finished, it's 2300HR. No more connecting train home so have to catch a cab. Miss my Bike especially when this happens.

The movie is not as exciting as the first Pirate even though there's the appearance of Davey Jones the octopus guy and his sea creatures crew.

Don't you hate it when your friends are out to sabo that wonderful relationship? Enjoy the ads.

My Beloved Bike is coming back to me soon after sitting in the motor work shop for the past 2 months! She's going to be fierce and more powerful with her full system yoshimura pipe, new set of Michelin tires and full servicing.

I can't wait to try her out. Wonder if she had changed after the accident. It's the 2nd major repair she had while under my care.

Can't wait to hear her Roar on the road once again. You better watch out Taxi Drivers! She's back and fiercer than before.

There's an opportunity for me to be transfer to another unit in my company. It's going to be full of challenges and surprises in store. Should I go or should I stay?

There's definitely more prospect over at the new unit. But more prospect means more work, stress and less time for myself to pursue my interest. Is this a golden opportunity not to be miss.

I'm confused at this moment. On one hand, I want to experience more challenges and learn new things. On the other hand, I'm unwilling to give up my present comfortable work unit and my dreams..

What should I do?

So you've stay up for the match till early next morning. Disappointing results for some. I still think that France should be the Champion. Call me a sore loser or whatever you want.

To determine the Champion by penalty kick is ridiculous! Rules are rules though. The goal keeper must be super stress during the penalty shot. The hope of the whole nation is upon the 2 of them.

Guess France would have to go back and start to practise for the next Soccer League coming. Heard that English Premier League is round the corner. Guess the Soccer Fever never ends.

I mention that I'll do some digging up on the article that got Mr Brown suspended from having his own column at TODAY previously. Since I'm waiting for the World Cup to start, decided to hop down to Mr Brown's Blog and check it out myself.

Here's what I've found. Maybe the way he put it doesn't please someone but hey you can't please everyone and what's more he's stating a fact. The cost of living are rising everyday. From crude oil to my bowl of fish ball noodles. The price of modernisation you might say. The only thing that doesn't increase at the same rate were probably my examination marks from my poly days.

Anyway this is the reply from the big boss himself. To cut things short and avoid any hatred exchange of views I think Mr Brown should keep away from the press. After all our press have guidelines to follow. I'm not saying that there aren't any in the cyberworld of blogging but at least we are free to express our thoughts here or are we suppose to apply for a permit as well?

The World Cup is coming to an end in a few hours time. All the excitement, laughter, sadness will be over soon. An event that stops the world from spinning, an event that increase MC rate over this past month. Almost everything will be back to normal real soon.

Who will win the World Cup Finals? Personally, I'm supporting France. No idea why. Maybe it's because of the curse by the you know who? (ok I forgotten his name but I know his name strikes fear into the hearts of many team manager. Whichever team he support that team is bound to lost. So far all the teams he's supporting were out of the World Cup. Italy is the last team that's still on his support list.

I'm too tired to stay up and catch it live. Guess I'll just have to catch the repeat telecast on Starhub Cable TV tomorrow. Hope it's France who's going to be the Champion!

Not what I really expect from a Superman movie. It's one of my must watch movie this year but it's really disappointing. The actor Brandon Routh looks like the old Superman but he just lack something. I can't really tell what that is. Out of 5 stars I would just give it a 3.


Maybe it's the villain that's not powerful/evil enough or plainly I don't like the costume of the the present Superman. The letter "S" on his chest had been changed to a 3D version which is nice but this famous red trunk is kind of weird. Isn't it suppose to be those bikini type? Or maybe his figure is not well define enough to carry the blue,red and yellow suit?

Comparing the two actors I still prefer Christopher Reeve. He's the man who brought Superman to life in the 1980s.

Revamp Revamp! Sometimes I wish like is just like a game. Insert coin and play again once you've reach the "Game Over" stage but it's not.

Time to revamp my blog. Some of the links are either not working or already dead. Am I really that no life? Just me, myself and my blog?

Ipod Nano. A piece of technology that makes me love and hate them. Love their design and the feel that comes with it. Hate that it scratch easily and the screen protector is so hard to put it on.

I was trying to put on the free screen protector that comes with my nano tonight. Putting on the back part was a breeze. Nothing to it. When it comes to the front part, that's the headache part.

The circle area of the screen protector came off from the main part. I tried every little trick that I know in the book and that part just refused to stick! Oh man. Think the screen protector is ruined. Have to pop over to simlim and source for a new one.

Argh!! Hope there's no more scratches appearing on my Nano during this few days!
