Starry Day
![]()
It's a busy day at Changi Airport. Most of the idols attending last nights 6th Global Chinese Music Awards decided to board the first flight out of Singapore.
With their fans storming Changi Airport, it's sure messy out there in the open. So far I've seen 刘德华, 陈奕迅, 杨丞琳, 容祖儿, TWINS and quite a few from mainland China. With so many idols around, how can I miss the chance to speak to them? Exciting right?
Didn't speak to all of them because of constraint. Need to be professional abit and do some work while serving them. Didn't get to speak to 刘德华 though. If not can ask for his autograph! That'll be so cool!
Just to share the exciting moment with you guys, here's a short clip for you all.

Out of Job
I might be out of job very soon.
Though I like my current job very much but I quite sick of my department. Should I request to be transferred to other departments or find a new job? I had no idea.
Maybe it's time to take up a part time degree which I had planned donkey years ago. This might help me to feel that I'm not stagnant in life.
Time to move on and accept new challenges.
Got any lobangs?

Western Food!
Visited the new Astones Specialties at Serangoon Garden with some friends today. It's their opening and one of my friend is a partner so went down to test the food and see if there's anything to help out.
The response is not bad. Most of the tables in the coffee shop are taken up. In fact I had to wait for quite some time for my own food to be served. As usual I had ordered the Prime Ribeye X cut medium. Taste slightly different from the East Coast Branch. Different cook so guess it's slightly different.
Overall the taste of the food served are quite similar compared to the East Coast Branch. I'm going back to have a 2nd taste session. This time must make sure it's my friend who is doing the cooking. Haven't taste his cooking yet. Hope it's up to the standard!
Here's the Add if you want to try it out.

Death Note @ Vivio City
Light Yagami is the top high school student of Japan who has, until recently, led a boring and uneventful life. All that quickly changes when he finds a mysterious notebook with the title "Death Note" on it, lying on the ground near his school. This innocent-looking object which should remain in the hands of God, may just be the catalyst that would change the fate of the world forever.Although initially skeptical after realising that it is a tool of a Shingami (God of Death), Light eventually decides to use it to 'cleanse' the world of evil. With the power to kill anyone by writing the name on the page, he begins to hold the scales to judge criminals based in his discretion.
I just came from from Vivio City after watching this movie. I kind of like the plot. Both characters, Light and L are very smart in their own ways. I like the part when L try to narrow down where Light might be. Though it's kind of in human, using a convict as a bait for Light to fall into the trap. From that part on, Light has fallen into the "dark side" killing other innocent parties so as not to get caught. Light even sacrifice his own girlfriend just to win L's trust. He needed to know what's L real name and his face so as to finish him off as well.
What happen to his noble cause in creating a criminal free world? Killing the innocent doesn't makes the world crime free. The movie doesn't end here though. There's part 2 coming. Just wonder when will it be shown here in Singapore. Don't leave straight away after the movie ends. There's a trailer for the sequence coming soon.Maybe I should go and search the comic and anime section in Singapore. Get them as a collection. It's best selling in Japan. With the movie, both comic and anime will be selling like hotcake from now on. By the way, I've found the trailer on youtube.
Enjoy!

Haze or Nuclear Test?
I'm not sure if I should be worrying more on the recent Haze or the Nuclear test that North Korea had carried out. Both were damaging to then environment and the health of human beings.
The culprit behind all this?
-Farmers who prefer to take the short cut to clear the forest
-Power hungry politician who want other countries to know that they were not to be push around.
Haven't we learn anything from our past? Mother Earth is being damaged, the animals are dying due to pollution and damage to their habitat. New diseases are breaking out every year. Experts said that by the year 2070 Earth's temperature going to raise by 7 degree. I'm not sure if I'm going to live till then to see that but it's sure going to have an effect on the rest of the population still alive by then.

Checked and Re-checked
It's not the first time I'm going for a holiday but I've checked and re-checked most of my list just to make sure I've got everything packed. For god's sake it's only a 3 days 2 nights trip and I seems to have packed more than what I did for Phuket. Maybe it's because it's the first time I'm going to Genting and there's too many unknown.
I hate the big unknown. You don't know what to expect. You aren't prepared for it. Guess this is me. Always want to in control. Guess I'm done for the trip. Another 4hrs to go before going off to Golden Mile to catch my coach. Maybe I should learn how to catch a bus to Genting instead. Should be more exciting and cheaper than a coach.
