Message of The Day

Valentine's Day today. Evey couple in town going crazy today. Chocolates are twice as expensive. Flowers are three times as compared to usual.

It's a day of love. This I agree but it's too commercialize. I've received discounts and vouchers from the banks. A night for 2 with thousand flowers cost at $888. It's crazy but there's still crazy guys out there who would spend the money.

Don't you think you can do other things with that amount of money?

Don't you hate it? When you set your mind on something and suddenly you have a change of heart because of something new is being launched. It's happening to me quite often nowadays.

Remember the $200 voucher that Starhub send me? It's like God send to me. I have my mind set on getting the Dopod 838pro with it. It doesn't matter that I have to sign up a new line. I'm all good and ready to go..BUT..Just when I plan to head down this weekend and get it, Dopod release a new rom update for their D810.

It's another pda phone similar to 838pro just that D810 doesn't have any keyboard. What's the fuss anyway right? Since the 2 phones have similar functions. The big difference is D810 comes with GPS after the new rom update. Bloody hell. That's the most useful function which every driver dream of. Gone are the days of flipping through road directories. Just key in the place you want to go and vrooom the pda will show it to you.

To cut the grandmother story short. Starhub doesn't carry D810. It's like adding salt to the wound. *Ouch* Maybe I'm giving this a miss. No point getting it now since Window Mobile 6 codename crossbow is coming out soon as well. New OS means new device coming out as well. All this will happening in the later part of the year. This is sure going to be an exciting year with big holes appearing here and there in my pocket.

Planning for a holiday is such a pain in the ass. There's so many things to plan before the actual I can actually go for a short holiday!

Here's the list of things to do before a holiday starts.

• Destination - First you have to know where to go
• Tickets - Then research how you want to reach your destination
• Accommodation - Where to stay after you reach your destination
• Places of Attractions - Where to visit so that your holidays are not wasted
• Food - What delicacy are there

I think this are the 4 main component at the planning stages of the holiday. There's much more of course but I think I will stop here first before adding on.

Oh besides all those factors the most important is money! No money how to go on a holiday?
